Insolvency administrators
and parties to proceedings
Fast, court-standard real estate valuations for insolvency estates, forced administration and probate proceedings — nationwide, punctual and geared toward urgent needs.
Real estate valuation for insolvency administrators and parties to proceedings
Insolvency proceedings place special demands on real estate appraisal reports: time pressure is often high, property documentation is frequently incomplete, and the appraisal report must serve as a robust basis for decision-making for the insolvency court as well as for potential bidders and creditors.
We have worked regularly for insolvency administrators, estate administrators and guardianship authorities for years. We are familiar with the particularities of insolvency properties — limited cooperation from the debtor, missing documentation, tight liquidation deadlines — and align our working method accordingly.
What distinguishes our appraisal reports for insolvency proceedings:
- ✓Fast delivery — including urgent needs and short deadlines
- ✓Liquidation value and market value stated in the same appraisal report
- ✓Court-standard pursuant to the German Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO) — usable as evidence
- ✓Nationwide inspections even for properties in unclear condition

Process for insolvency administrators and parties to proceedings
Initial contact & deadline inquiry
Contact us by phone or email. Please let us know the relevant deadline date immediately — e.g. the auction date, the creditors' meeting, or a statutory reporting deadline. We clarify feasibility and provide you with a binding delivery date within 24 hours.

Please send us all available documents — even incomplete ones. We prepare a quote based on the existing documentation and point out any missing documents. If obtaining them is not possible, we work with well-founded assumptions.

Determination of market value and liquidation value with full consideration of encumbrances, tenancies, easements, and the particularities of the insolvency situation. Transparent documentation of all assumptions for the insolvency court.
Delivery & follow-up support
Delivery as a bound copy and as a PDF before the agreed date. At the court's request, we are available for supplementary statements or as expert valuers.
Frequently asked questions
Can you prepare an appraisal report even with incomplete documentation?+
Yes. Missing documentation is common in insolvency proceedings. We work with the available documents and supplement missing information through well-founded assumptions, our own research, or credit agencies. All assumptions are transparently disclosed in the appraisal report so that the court and creditors can follow the derivation.
How quickly can you deliver an urgent appraisal report?+
This depends on the complexity of the property and our current workload. Contact us with your deadline date — we will provide you with a binding delivery date within 24 hours. For simple properties (condominiums, single-family homes), delivery within 5 to 7 business days after inspection is possible.
Do you state the liquidation value and market value separately?+
Yes. Insolvency administrators generally need both figures: the market value pursuant to § 194 BauGB (German Building Code) as the value under normal conditions, and the liquidation value, which accounts for the limited marketing period and, where applicable, the condition of the property. Both figures are stated separately with reasoning in the appraisal report.
Can you testify as an expert valuer at foreclosure auction hearings?+
Yes. At the request of the court or the insolvency administrator, we are available to explain our appraisal report verbally, answer questions, and respond to objections. We also prepare supplementary written statements upon request.
